Every summer I take the family on a vacation to a destination that everyone can agree on. One year we went to Disneyland, the next, the Grand Canyon. This year, we are all having a problem deciding on where to go. Some want to go to the beach and others want to go the mountains. I'm thinking southern California, and then you are not far from either. When I was online trying to figure out what to do I came across a lot of different websites that offered travel ideas. I ordered a lot of pamphlets and brochures to help us settle on the best place to go. I got some information on southern California and some for New York. Some of the kids weren't interested in NYC at first, but it was something I thought they should see. It was really easy to order these free travel brochures online. The site listed all 50 states, and all I had to do was pick the one that interested me the most. Then it was a simple matter of filling out some information and they would send it right off. There are so many great places to visit across the country; I didn't realize how many activities there were to do depending on where you want to go. You can go river rafting in southern Utah, or skiing in Colorado. You can go to Disneyland in California or Cedar Point in beautiful Sandusky, Ohio! Wherever your final destination is, there's a good chance you can find a free travel brochure for it. It was immensely entertaining to go through all these different brochures and consider places that I had never realized would be a good destination. There are so many hidden gems in this country, you could travel for months and never see them all. When I received the pamphlets, we went over all of them with the family and narrowed down the choices of where we are going. The kids are the ones holding us up. They would rather go to an amusement park than a national park. They have travel pamphlets for almost anywhere you could vacation. Indoor, outdoor, it doesn't matter much. All you have to do is log on and order your pamphlets. However, once we got all these brochures, and once we started considering all the potential, it made our final decision a little bit harder. The good news is that there is always next summer. And don't forget that there is always the summer after that, too. Are you thinking of how to obtain free california travel guides?
