Acai Berry- The Nutritional Fruit

The Acai berry fruit can be said to be the number one supplement food in the world. It is a fruit grown in the Amazon rain forest of Brazil, Peru, and south Central America and is harvested twice a year. The acai berry fruit grows on the acai palm tree which grows very fast. It is in fact a purplish black fruit and belongs to the grape variety it is about 1 inch in the diameter and has the taste of chocolates and berries. It has a large seed when compared to the fruit.The fruit being in demand for its nutritional values is taken in huge quantities in its various forms like juices, smoothies, fruit as a whole, tablets etc. The fruits are as such used as garnishes and mixed with ice cream and muffins.As per the recent researches and studies made on the different verities of Acai fruits, it was concluded that commercial acai berry variety of fruit is an excellent variety. These fruits increase the immune system of the body. It was also found that the level of antioxidants present in the blood increases with in the span of 2 hours from consuming acai juice.The various nutrients found in the acai berry fruit can be named as Vitamin C, Vitamin -A, calcium, various fibers, iron, Amino acids, proteins, glucasamine, calcium, phosphorous, potassium. They also have a large amount of antioxidants which supports in removing the toxins seen in the body.Regular intake of acai berry fruit can be the cure for cancer, prevent heart disease, supports to improve the immune system, strengthen the vision, and helps in achieving sound sleep.Due to its nutrition value the Acai berry fruit can be rightfully called as the best food supplement to the food.
